Wafflato began as a local favourite in Jasper, where its warm atmosphere, inventive toppings, and fresh-made batters quickly made it a breakfast destination. What started as a small waffle and coffee house soon became a community hub—known for its friendly service, signature waffles, and the sweet pairing of warm waffles with cool, house-made gelato.

After the 2024 Jasper wildfire, the flagship café continued to serve its community, becoming a symbol of resilience and connection. That same sense of comfort, creativity, and care now defines Wafflato’s next chapter.

The new Calgary location reimagines the concept for an all-day experience, blending urban design with small-town hospitality. Guests can enjoy a curated coffee program in partnership with Fratello Coffee Roasters, locally inspired desserts, and a new lounge program featuring beer, wine, and creative cocktails—making this the first Wafflato to extend its experience well into the evening.
